Masquerade Ball to Offer Free Babysitting

Every March the Newburgh JCC successfully throws a 'winter wine down party'. This March, thanks to the lunar calendar the culmination of a long winter coincides with the party holiday of the Jewish year. Purim commemorates a tale of survival and cunning pertaining to Jewish people in ancient days. The heroine of the story is called Esther. The essence of her majesty is reason enough to eat, drink (it's commanded) and be merry on this celebratory occasion.

Open bar with a signature cocktail, wine, and beer, food for all, photo booth and music by Afterglow make this the MUST-ATTEND event of the season. AND just in case you're thumbing through the iPhone for a sitter, cancel that. Free babysitting will be provided in the gym for kids 5 - 13.

$30 in advance/$40 at the door.

The Newburgh Jewish Community Center serves people of all racial, religious, ethnic and economic backgrounds.  We do this through programming, as well as philanthropic endeavors. The JCC encourages a sense of community by sharing a wide variety of enrichment, educational, cultural and social activities.
