New Windsor Dance Studio Betting You'll be Hooked in One Class

Drop in, get a little workout, learn a little choreography, no experience necessary. That's the methodology at Empire Dance Center who just celebrated their ribbon cutting at their New Windsor studio. (176 Windsor Hwy, Suite 700)

Owner Christine Valentino started dancing young - like around the time she first learned to control her steps once walking. In college her and 12 other girls started a studio on campus at SUNY Cortlandt through the recreation department complete with an end of the year recital. By the time she graduated 120 people were using the studio and taking advantage of the program she and her classmates had created. But, once outside they were disappointed to find there was nowhere for adult dancers to play. So she decided to start a place where all ages can get their dance on. Adults and children alike.

Empire Dance Center offers an incredible range of classes from technique like hip hop, tap and ballet to fitness including zumba and pilates. There is a homework space, a store complete with workout attire and accessories and even a birthday party option. Student classes come complete with an end of the year recital.
