Have a Blizzard Treat at Dairy Queen on August 14th
Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen is a national effort to raise funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. For every Blizzard Treat sold on Miracle Treat Day, Dairy Queen will make a $1 donation, or more, to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Employees and patrons of participating Dairy Queen stores across the Hudson Valley are invited to have a blizzard on August 14th to benefit children and families cared for by Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center.
The following Dairy Queen stores have confirmed participation:
- Middletown (James P. Kelly Way near Dolson Avenue)
- Newburgh (Corner of Routes 300 and 52)
- Wappingers Falls (Route 9 South)
- Monroe (401 Monroe Turnpike
Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center – the children’s hospital for the Hudson Valley and Fairfield County - is a member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Since all donations to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals stay local, proceeds for each Blizzard Treat sold on Miracle Treat Day at participating Dairy Queen stores in the region will benefit Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and its efforts to provide lifesaving and life-changing care to area children.
The hospital is home to the region’s only pediatric intensive care unit and its regional neonatal intensive care unit as well as its only pediatric transplant program, pediatric burn care and trauma services and cardiac catheterization program.
