Newburgh Brewing Cream Ale Has National Debut

We did it! We voted Betsy all the way to the winner's circle in the CNBC best-loved beer- label contest. And today she took the stage in her national debut.

The winning label by Newburgh Brewing centers on iconic purple Betsy, and also contains a Newburgh city-scape sketch and the famous Brewed with Heart logo. They are .."Icons and images that mean a lot to us and mean a lot to the city of Newburgh," said Paul Halayko from Washingtonville, New York. Together with two partners, he hatched the brewery on paper in 2009, bringing an investment plan to the table using his background in finance.

Paul may be the "money guy" behind Newburgh brewing, but he really shows his knowledge of the industry in this rapid-fire interview that debuted on CNBC today, April 7th, 2015. Listen to Paul's take on starting a business in Newburgh, New York..

"Newburgh is a great place to open a business especially manufacturing because you're an the intersection of 84 and 87. There is an airport, and there's an also a train so it's also very easy for tourism. Craft beer is all about tourism."

Pick up Newburgh Brewing's Cream Ale in New York retail locations, and North N.J as well as on tap at your favorite local bar and tap house. Congratulations Paul Halayko, Charlie Benedetti, Christopher Basso and Betsy the cow! You make Newburgh proud.
