Newburgh Rotary Sends Shelter to Nepal



The Newburgh Rotary Club has raised the necessary funds to purchase one ShelterBox (cost, $1000) to date, for humanitarian aid in Nepal, following the
overwhelming disaster caused by the recent earthquake. Pictured in the photo left to right are Newburgh Rotarians Bob McCurdy, Brenda Harburger, Deanne Brady, Doug Sturomski (Rotary ShelterBox Liaison), and Lou Chappo, (club president).

Deanne hands a check to Lou for the $1000 raised from members for the project so far. 


Come to The Taste of Newburgh to see a fully stocked ShelterBox of the type that we are sponsoring for Nepal. Your participation by purchasing tickets for the Taste of Newburgh, will become part of the ShelterBox effort, in addition to sponsoring numerous other projects in the Newburgh community. Come and be a part of the Taste of Newburgh held Sunday, May 17th, at Mount Saint Mary College,12:30-2:30 pm. Tickets $30.
