Summer Internship Announcement

Goshen, NY – Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus, the Office of Human Resources, and the Orange County Youth Bureau (OCYB) today announced that applications are now open for the 2014 Summer Youth Internship Program. The annual program offers positive, unpaid work experiences for local high school students currently in grade 10 through graduating seniors. 

Selected youth will be matched to county departments that have available internships. Please note that slots are limited and completed applications are to be returned to the Orange County Youth Bureau no later than June 2. Reliable transportation and a consistent time commitment are required. An orientation regarding volunteer expectations will be offered to all selected applicants. Please contact the Youth Bureau by June 2 with your completed application to join us for this can’t-miss opportunity.”

Youth participants will have the opportunity to build skills that will help them be successful in future paying jobs.
