Dogs Have Their Day at Poochapalooza
It was a beautiful September day, the kind you want to hold onto long into the cool months waiting around the corner. The crispness of morning waned with the sunlight. Cars were already parked for a mile in each direction at the start of what would be a day of frolicking and fun for furry friends arrived from 3 counties.
Sixty SPCA pups were picked up at 10AM by families who had arrived to rent and walk them for the one-day event.
The hard part, for everyone, was handing them back at the end of the day.

K104's annual Poochapalooza gets better every year. Pet's Alive was on the scene sharing stories of their rescues and doing meet and greets.
Lower East Side Weruva - dog and cat food makers who hand-pack people food for pets - were there handing out samples of their Pumpkin Patch up stomach settler and muscle meat protein dog food. I brought some home for my Yorkie Kai. He LOVED it.

Pets played games and ran through an obstacle track by Hudson Valley Pet N Play Resort.
