RICH ROWLEY AND LIBERTYVILLE CAPITAL GROUP FOURSOME TAKE HOME INAUGURAL ROWLEY CUP AT 17TH ANNUAL ORANGE OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT

This year, the championship trophy for the 17th annual Orange Open Golf Tournament was renamed the Rowley Cup to recognize Rich Rowley, the founder of the Orange Open and well-known local businessman and philanthropist.

In an amazing twist of fate, Rich Rowley and the other three members of his Libertyville Capital Group foursome won first place and took home the Rowley Cup at the Orange Open golf outing held last week at the Powelton Club in Newburgh. “What a great way to inaugurate the Rowley Cup,” said RJ Martucci, Co-Chairman of the Orange Open. “We were all thrilled when the scores came in and Libertyville was the winner.”

The Rowley Cup will reside in the Libertyville Capital Group office until next year when teams will compete at the 18th annual Orange Open. The Orange Open is co-hosted annually by the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region.
