Get Help Starting or Expanding Your Small Business

Poughkeepsie, NY - Have a brilliant idea that you want to turn into a business? Thinking about how you would like to be the boss of your own company? Or perhaps you're trying to figure out how to take your budding enterprise to the next level? The nonprofit Women's Enterprise Development Center wants to help you make your dreams a reality.

Women's Enterprise Development Center's business training program for entrepreneurs covers key topics such as legal business structures, business management skills, understanding financial statements, cash flow and budgeting, market research, social media and traditional marketing, technology for your business, business presentation skills. The course culminates with attendees writing a business plan and presenting to a small panel of representatives from the business community. Attendees are also provided with one on one counseling to assist them with the creation of the business plan.

Join the Women's Enterprise Development Center for our Fall Program beginning Wednesday, September 17, 2015 at Dutchess Community College. College located at 53 Pendell Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Classes are in the evening from 6-9 pm.  

Open to all. $200 for the 15 week course.

Since 1997, the nonprofit Women's Enterprise Development Center Inc. has provided entrepreneurs with the skills, tools and resources they need to start their own businesses, to expand them and to achieve economic self-sufficiency.
