Hudson Valley Enterprise Rent-A-Car Works with Girl Scouts and Volunteer New York to Create Fun Experiences at Local Camp

Employees of Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Hudson Valley recently worked with Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson and Volunteer New York to provide the foundation for a zip line at the Girl Scouts Rock Hill Camp in Mahopac, NY.

“At Enterprise, we work to be an engaged corporate citizen that makes a real difference in the communities where we live and work,” said Ryan Gilmour, area manager for Enterprise in Newburgh. “Through our partnership with Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson Valley and Volunteer New York, we were able to help provide a fun outdoor activity for the youth in our community. We’re looking forward to going back to the camp to see the progress.”

Volunteers from Enterprise Rent-A-Car included: · Ryan Gilmour, Sara Matzkin and Savahn Steadman.

“It felt amazing to be back at Rock Hill Camp, where I made many great memories as a Girl Scout and camper,” added Sara Matzkin, management trainee for Enterprise in Peekskill. “This new activity will create lasting memories for campers and provide a greater appreciation for nature. We’re so glad to have participated in the process.”

During the build at Rock Hill Camp in May, the Enterprise team helped to construct the platform and foundation in which campers will board the zip line. The Girls Scouts Rock Hill Camp is situated on 190 acres and provides campers with access to activities including boating, swimming, hiking, and more.
