Live Audience Needed in Pawling for Radio Broadcast
Pawling, NY -Pawling Public Radio (PPR) Jacque’s Music Hall Showcase 2-hour Live Broadcast on Friday, October 21st at 8 p.m.
The October 21st performance will feature 4 Hudson Valley musical acts: Wolf Critton, Jim Popisil, Ben Rounds, and John Comerford. In addition to local music there will be ticket giveaways, great company! Admission is suggested donation of $10 at the door and will automatically enter you into a raffle to win some great local prizes. BYOB. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Opening this show is local Pawling “celebrity” acoustic musician, John Comerford. Many in the community are familiar with John, as he is the Pawling mailman. The following two performers are; Ben Rounds host of the Emerson Resort & Spa’s Open Mic in Ulster County and Jim Pospisil, Founding member of Bucket of Mud, performing acoustic solo. Closing out the show is Wolf Critton -- a rousing acoustic duo consisting of Mike Colona on drums and Wolf Critton, acoustic singer-songwriter. Wolf and Mike will be the special guests on Jacque’s Giant Hudson Valley Music Show, Wednesday October 19th at 8-9 p.m. tempting the audience with a hint of what is to be expected the following Friday October 21st!
“We are providing the Pawling Community with a 2-hour evening of Local music. A $10 donation is requested to support Pawling Public Radio. There is a raffle to win prizes, which includes; pair of tickets to performances at Daryl’s House, a $25 gift certificate from Resolution Rx, a free haircut from Freshcuts Pawling and a $25 gift certificate to the Duffle Bag. “Any members of the community with a business or service that would like to donate a prize are encouraged to contact the station,” Roche requests.
WPWL invites you to bring cheese, grapes, a bottle of red, white or whatever. Come prepared to be part of a live studio audience and two-hour radio show with some of the best talent in the Valley”! The entire community is invited to attend and join in the fun. Your contribution supports Pawling Public Radio’s expansion as they complete their FCC licensing requirements, continue with the new tower installation and cover administrative and operating costs.
