See the Performing Arts Entertainer of the Year at SUNY Orange for $10
MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. - Award-winning illusionist Mike Super, winner of NBC's primetime competition show "Phenomenon" in 2007, will bring his unique brand of magic and humor to SUNY Orange's Middletown campus for a 7 p.m. performance in Orange Hall Theatre on Friday, Sept. 14.
Super is the only magician in history to win a live magic competition on prime time network television, and he received "Performing Arts Entertainer of the Year" accolades in both 2011 and 2012 from the International Magician's Society. He was also tabbed "America's Best Entertainer of the Year" by "Campus Activities Magazine."
Admission is $10 per person, with SUNY Orange students admitted free with a valid student identification card. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the George F. Shepard Student Center Information Desk on the College's Middletown campus, or at the Student Services Central located in Kaplan Hall on the Newburgh campus. Tickets will also be sold at the door.
Super's appeal to both young and old alike has made him one of the most sought-after mystifiers in the country. Whether he appears on television, stage or theatre, Super's personality and humor reaches out and enchants the audience, and he has taken the performance of magic to new, mainstream audiences. He has a unique ability to entertain and fascinate people.
Super appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' television show, making her appear from nothing but shadows (see below) :
After he did it, she said, "I haven't come out like that since the cover of TIME magazine!"
